The grimoire, forms of old witchcraft, comprise of the most read books but simultaneously discredited books of all the magick.
In general, the grimoires that have arrived until us are versions of other versions of other versions... most of them adulterated, with suppressions, insertions and changes that not even allowed to recognize in them the original work.
On the other hand, some unscrupulous booksellers and authors are lately dedicating to the lucrative business of publishing "antiques" grimoires, imitating fonts and classes of paper, and making pay extreme astronomical sums of money for books that often are not but inventions of the own publisher, with including only some classic Spells to give a bit of authenticity.
Few grimoires of which they exist at the moment are worthy of confidence, and precise a serious deep analysis before accepting the contents, the majority of which had been able to make all the humanity rich... provided they were really effective.
